SemAg is a STEBBINS trade name for a special mineral aggregate which has excellent resistance severe alkaline process conditions. SemAg was selected through extensive laboratory and field testing due to its excellent ability in resisting severe alkaline process conditions. Due to this, the chemical composition and crystalline structure of the aggregate is proprietary information.

The aggregate is used extensively with Type I Portland Cement for the preparation of alkali resistant concrete and mortars. In addition, Portland cement and SemAg Aggregate are the basic raw materials in the manufacture of SemAg Brick.

SemAg bricks are formed into uniform dense construction units. After forming, the units are moisture cured to develop maximum strength.
