STEBBINS successfully completed a field construction contract for Weyerhaeuser involving the design, engineering and field erection of the Filtrate Tank, pictured. The reinforced concrete cover is supported by the tile/concrete walls shown. The cover is designed to carry 300 tons of structural steel and mechanical equipment. During the construction period, the job site experienced record rainfall. Even with these adverse conditions, STEBBINS was able to turn over the completed tank three weeks ahead of schedule

The Avenor mill (formerly Canadian Pacific Forest Products Limited) is one of North America s largest recycled-content newsprint production facilities. CANADIAN STEBBINS
recently erected all the tile/reinforced concrete chests and tanks for the new de-ink pulp (DIP) line and the TMP Plant which are now in full operation.

The STEBBINS Chemipulp/Jenssen Division provided a modular plant to melt and store molten sulfur, generate and cool sulfur dioxide gas and absorb the sulfur dioxide in chilled water. This plant was shipped to Indonesia, complete with auxiliary process equipment, instrumentation, proprietary control logic and full documentation. STEBBINS personnel supervised start-up of this facility.
